EasyJet invests 1.6 billion dirhams in its first non‑European base in Marrakech
Three Airbus aircraft, an investment of more than €150 million (over 1.6 billion MAD), and a 17% capacity increase by 2026: EasyJet and ONMT have signed an agreement to boost Morocco’s connectivity. With the launch of the airline’s first base outside Europe in Marrakech, this five‑year partnership is set to accelerate the Kingdom’s rise as a global tourism destination.
