Approximately 23,500 people are living with HIV in Morocco
In 2025, Morocco counts about 23,500 people living with HIV (PLHIV), including adults and children. The country recorded 990 new infections and 400 AIDS‑related deaths, an incidence rate of 0.03 per 1,000 inhabitants. New infections fell 22% between 2013 and 2024.
